Standard Returns Policy

Our standard 30 day returns policy for unwanted products are subject to the following terms and conditions:

The product must have been purchased directly from nuvirtu and any claim for return for refund will require a copy of the original receipt or order number

You will have a maximum of 30 days from date of purchase receipt to submit your claim to return your product for refund

Any product to be returned must:

  • Be in its original unopened packaging and be in the original condition
  • Be returned within the 30 day period

Claim for refund will be rejected if upon inspection:

  • The product has been used
  • Shows any sign of damage, wear, is soiled
  • Shows any signs of being washed or ironed
  • Is not in its original packaging
  • The 30 day return for refund limit has expired

It will not be the responsibility of nuvirtu to cover return shipping costs of any product shipped back to nuvirtu that does not meet our terms and condition of the 30 day return for refund

Weighted Blanket Warranty

Period of Cover

This limited warranty is applicable for one calendar year or for the extended period registered at time of purchase. The cover commences from the date of purchase, as shown on your purchase receipt

All claims must be supported with a copy of your original receipt

This limited warranty covers blankets that have lost poly pellets due to the failure of seam stitching. We will not cover lost or stolen blankets; we will not cover shredded, cut or torn blankets

What is covered by our limited warranty policy?

Any failure in the stitching of your weighted blanket that is deemed to have caused a loss of weighted pellets or beads. In this circumstance we will commit to replacing lost weighted pellets or beads and repairing the damaged seem

Return Shipping Costs

The Weighted Blanket warranty does not cover return shipping costs back to our premises or the retail store you purchased the product from. This cost is the responsibility of the claimant unless your retail store has an independent policy to cover this cost for you

If after inspection the product is deemed not to be a valid warranty claim under these terms and conditions, nuvirtu will not be liable to cover any costs associated with shipping the product back to the claimant’s address

nuvirtu will fund the cost of return shipping on mainland UK for any weighted blanket where a failure of the seam stitching has been deemed to have caused a loss of pellets or beads

How do I Claim?

Send your claim by email to accompanied by the following information:

  • A copy of the Original Purchase Receipt
  • Customer Name, Postal Address, Email, Telephone No.
  • A photograph of the damaged product
  • Comment on what the issue is and how it occurred

Our technical team will review the claim and support you through the process


Postage and Packaging Costs

The majority of our retail prices cover the cost of shipping. Any exceptions will show any applicable shipping rates in the shipping cart as a sperate line item

Time to Ship

We aim to ship our orders within 24 hours of order receipt during weekdays, or on the next working day if the order is received on weekends or national holidays


On occasions due to the national location of our product inventory you may receive your nuvirtu product from one of our channel distribution partners and therefore it may be invoiced and packaged by them

International Shipping

Shipping outside of mainland UK will be subject to the shipping rates quoted by our distribution partners. These rates are based on geographic location and shipping service required. They can be found in the shipping cart as you process your order

nuvirtu will not hold any liability or responsibility if a customer provides an inaccurate or incorrect address or other critical information related to service during ordering. nuvirtu will appropriate supportive actions to accommodate any amendments to customer order details ahead of final order processing or shipping or product

nuvirtu is not conditionally bound to provide refunds for on orders where incorrect information submitted by the customer causes unfulfilled order receipt. If a product has been shipped and requires re-routing or incurs additional shipping or other costs this is strictly the responsibility of the customer
